About us
As a dog breeder, I am dedicated to deliberately breeding dogs with the utmost care and responsibility. It is my duty to ensure the well-being of my dogs and to place their puppies in the hands of responsible owners.

Our Story
UTMOST Care and Responsibility
It all started with a blue merle Sheltie named H Bar H’s Blue Skye, also known as “Ashley.” Her sire was Banchory Strike Me Silver. I bred her to Montage Living Proof, whose sire was Macdega Proof Positive. This pairing produced a moderate tri-colored male named Ch Topnotch Conrad By George UD, or “Conrad.” He was the 99th Sheltie to earn both his Championship and Utility Degree.
I am passionate about training my Shelties in Obedience and Agility. I have pursued this for many years and achieved several titles, including a MACH in Agility.
Since the early 1980s, I have successfully run a training business, offering classes from Puppy through Utility and all levels of Agility. Many of my students compete in various levels of Agility, Obedience, and Rally. Some continue to compete today, earning even more titles.
Dedication and Knowledge
I became an AKC Obedience judge for all levels and an AKC Agility judge in 1990. When the AKC introduced Rally as an event in 2005, I also became a Rally judge for all levels. Currently, I enjoy judging Obedience and Rally competitions.
I have studied the conformation area for many years and have attended the ASSA National event annually since 1993. During this time, I have participated in seminars on breeding, structure, and genetics. I enjoy sitting ringside to watch beautiful, well-moving dogs during competitions.
And So It Began
While attending the ASSA National in Kissimmee, Florida, in 2012, I purchased a lovely blue bitch named CH Ridgewood Bayou CD, RI “[Brooke]” (Jesstar Nirvana/Bronwyn Seaspray) from Rita Von Pusch. I later bred her to CH Kismet Shogun ROM, which resulted in the production of BGCH Topnotch On The Fast Track BN RI “Zip.”
I have continued working with the Kismet lines and now have a Kismet Chateau Successor female, GCH Breyton Smooth Jazz “Jazz.” Jazz finished her Grand Champion title with all three-point majors and has won three Best of Breeds.
